    1" = 25.4mm

    So 6" = 152.4mm
    4"=101.6mm

    Greetings Guys; Well The fella from OZ has assured me that the SS front badge is 130 mm OD & from what I can tell from measuring the V shape of the front grill it should fit inside the wreath?? So I'm planing to order one from him "Original Parts Group". So now turning my attention to the rear witch will be a much tougher search, because I won't be working with a plastic mounting surface of the grill. As the tail gate is metal of course. So now the search will be to find one 4-1/4 max (108 mm) diameter that can be melted into a V shape. Or maybe a metal badge that can be bent. Anyone got any ideas?? I've actually found a few older Holden badges the have a wreath with a shield very similar the the Cady SRX badge, of course the wrong shape. But being metal they can possibly be re shaped? Thanks for any help I can get, Ole' Bob.
    Ps: Thank you for the math lesson Mr Bohnman. The adding machine is right beside me, I mean the calculator! Maybe I should mention that after spending 1/2 my working career in engineering & converting way too many drawings in the later years to metric so we could ship our jobs over seas. Witch made me SICK I too have used the 25.4 conversion more than I want to remember. Thanks again.

    You are not going to bend chrome plated plastic even with heat the plastic will fracture very easily.

    Greetings Mr. Bohnman & few; Yea I agree plastic might bent but crack the chrome for sure. I did run across a carbon (wrap?) one, probably plastic that may bend without destroying it?? But I've been looking at older ones that are made of metal for the tail gate that may survive a light bend with heat?? And some of them already have a slight bend. The one I came across with the Holden shield & wreath has slight OE bend & may be very close? And I'm just about to start a conversation with that shop in the next day or two. Ya got any ideas for me?? I sure wish GM had sold SRX's down in OZ land then this quest would be easy.
    To change the subject, I've been seriously considering putting one of your flat splitters under my nose this spring & now I see that you have made a fancy molded one also? Anyway if ya have a flat one made or plan to make some (or one) in the future please let me know. Also on my wish list is to have ya put that port in my radio. Just how far into the city are you anyway? Take care Ole' Bob.

    Metal should depending on the thickness and if it's plated. Plating doesn't really like to bend That's why the plastic ones will for sure craze and crack.

    I've got 19 flat Splitters in my garage and get more made all the time they sell pretty well.

    I'm in Arlington Heights about 10 mins from Lou's BBQ. Radio will take me all of 30min or less.

    So she tells me to give her 304.8mm and make it hurt. So I gave her 152.4mm TWICE and hit her over the head with a brick.

    Thanks guys

    Hi guys; Jeff (?) it's good to know that you keep some front splitters available. I will have to consider driving down this spring & while you put the port into my radio, maybe you'll let me mount a splitter in your shop-grarge? You may of heard me mention how much I like driving down into all that traffic & the fact that I don't do interstate 90 in Ill. or Wisc. & all points East! I've the taken two lane hi ways to the BBQ each of the three times I've ventured down to your area. Have I also seen that you can convert the start up logo from a Pontiac logo to the Holden logo??
    Lane you crack me up & I have more than enough cracks. Just wait until ya get my age, your 305 mm will shrink down to 200 mm & need help staying at attention. Ya ever wonder why old guys merry younger woman or have a younger mistress's? One of my good buddies (69 yrs young) just married a 54 year old! As you know the male spices responds to the visual (hence the porn Industry). I'm sure the baby BOOoomers may have something to do with that??
    It's good to see you guys post as apparently we are the last of the dinosaurs??
    I got one wish that may never happen. I would so much love to have you all (Holden forum members) come up to my place for a summer meet before I get too damn old to host or sign out unexceptionally. I'll be 72 this summer & the clock is ticking. Bucket list is longer than I intended at this point & I'm sure that I may never complete it. I could park 40 or 50 cars in my yard, lots of space. Take care & thanks guys, Ole' Bob.

    Well, in my case I would've split it into 1/4's.

    Seriously though, I believe it's an Andrew Dice Clay line... "She told me to giver her 12" and make it hurt... So I "F'd" her twice and hit her over the head with a brick...Ohhhh!"

    I just couldn't resist with the 6" to mm amount.

    Makes me feel more normal

    Thank you Jeff, much appreciated. I generally don't just let anybody work on my automobiles as friends & acquaintes think I'm anal, overly fussy! I may be in the 1%ers, but I've seen your automobile up close & personal and I would be very pleased to let you touch, feel & work on my baby. Just to clarify were talking about my GuTOo! As you are more than likley in the .05%es group! I ever so much enjoy meeting & becoming friend with car guys that are more anal than myself. It then makes me feel more normal, but the feeling doesn't last long. So now we wait until mother nature brings on spring as like many here I don't drive it in salt. And speaking of salt & w_nt_r (I try not to use bad words), inventively I'll be sending you some of the white stuff tonight! 6 inches or more & I'll try to Not make it hurt, but it might! Thanks again, Ole' Bob
